Creating a diverse and inclusive culture
Our aim
Everyone feels their unique difference is recognised and valued
- To meet our target of 40% women in senior leadership positions by 2025
- To meet our ethnic diversity ambition of 10% for the Group’s UK senior leadership population by the end of 2027
- Innovation, learning and open mindedness are encouraged within the Group
- Colleagues can be their true selves and feel a sense of belonging
- We encourage and support everyone to realise their full potential
- We use data to inform, shape and update our policies and ensure we treat colleagues fairly and consistently
- All colleagues understand the part they play in building an inclusive organisation
Our progress
In creating a diverse and inclusive business
- At the end of 2023, we have seen the percentage of women in senior roles increase to 36% from 34% in 2022
- For the first time we partnered with an independent UK-based talent and diversity consultancy, Green Park, to gain a deeper understanding of the composition and diversity of our senior leaders. 6% of our senior leaders based in the UK self-disclosed as ethnically diverse.
- We have Diversity Panels that share best practice across the Group
- We support our colleagues with disability and accessibility needs
- We invest in employee networks across the Group
